Problem
River Heights Charter School has a staff and that staff needs e-mail. Especially an e-mail inbox that isn’t cluttered with spam, that also sports a professional custom domain (i.e., “@riverheightscharter.org”).
Solution
Since most of the faculty was using the Microsoft Exchange server for their e-mail, I decided to use Exchange to forward any incoming e-mails to a Gmail, as Gmail has a strong anti-spam system.
How I got it to work
Firstly, I had all those who didn’t have an e-mail with the domain “riverheightscharter.org” create a Gmail account, to make sure the e-mail is reserved for professional usage. Second off, I set-up their Exchange account to forward incoming e-mails to their newly created Gmail account.
Forwarding e-mails in Microsoft Exchange
I’ll assume that you already have user accounts set-up on a domain.

Fill out the information, make sure the Full & Display name differs from the user account in which you're creating the contact for. Once you're finished, click Next.

Click the Modify... button.

Select SMTP Address and click OK.

Input the desired recipient of the forward (i.e. the Gmail account), click OK.

Click Next>.

Create the contact by clicking Finish.
Now we have to link the account to the contact.
