About the client
This post is rather belated, but back when I was in my senior year of high school I had the opportunity to publicize my services with this non-profit organization. Initially I was doing this work for free, but they followed up and paid me well. As quoted from their website:
We promote Latina leadership, connect Latinas for mutual support and dialogue, and preserve our cultural values.
What I did
They asked for a simple website on a tight budget wherein they could easily apply edits. I utilized my favorite CMS, WordPress, and began creating a theme for them. I also set-up Google Apps, so they could use Gmail for e-mail, which allowed the use of their domain “latinaassociationmn.org” within their e-mail addresses.
